Snowflake Challenge - Day 3

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser-known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom who maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.

This is a tough one as there are so many super stories out there. I'm afraid I'm going to take the easy way and list three stories I loved at Teitho recently.

The Cruelest Kindness by MP brennan L
When he captures a young raider, Aragorn's concepts of duty and mercy are put to the test. Written for the May Teitho Challenge "Capture." A tale of Thorongil.

I love all MP Brennan's stories but this one haunted me long after I read it and inspired me to flesh out my own story for the challenge. This story was a truly worthy winner.

The Sealed Letter
By: Eildon Rhymer
An isolated farmer finds a badly wounded man in a ruined farm. Six hundred years later, a historian researching King Elessar comes across a sealed letter. What links these two events is a story long forgotten.

Rhymer is a newcomer to the Tolkien fandom and a highly talented writer. I was glad this story beat mine, it was just so good.

Summary: Aragorn helps a young Gondorian.

I don't know anything about this writer save that their stories are excellent.

My all time favourite stories are listed here.
