“I never did buy Éowyn one of those combs,” Faramir said wistfully. “She loves mother of pearl.”
“We would be mobbed again if we returned to the market,” Aragorn cautioned.
“You could always borrow some of my robes and return to the stall disguised,” Ambassador Tahir joked. ”Our merchants simply crave the honour of doing business with such great men.”
“Fame and wealth has its disadvantages,” sighed Aragorn. “I miss my Ranger days.”
“We have advantages too,” said Faramir. “I could despatch a servant to buy a whole box of combs for Éowyn and whatever your lady might desire too.”
