Though he moved silently, she sensed his presence.

He stood before the fire, favouring its warmth over the chill of his dressing chamber. Her gaze delighted in his easy grace as he began to shed his clothing. He cast his shirt aside and for a moment stood there, his skin glowing like burnished bronze in the firelight.

Surely, her husband was fairer than any Elf! Arwen though. Her eyes drank in his beauty. The muscles of his broad back rippled beneath the fire illuminated skin before vanishing beneath his nightshirt.

“Estel?”

Aragorn slid into their bed and held her close.
