April Teitho Challenge

Our April topic is a Mystery... Literally.

Life has its own mysteries and unanswered questions, both big and small. In Middle-earth, it is no different. Who is Tom Bombadil? Did the Balrog have wings? Were any of the 13 Dwarves in the Hobbit female? How did Legolas keep his hair perfect?

Your story or picture can be about someone encountering a mystery, creating a mystery, revealing a mystery, about questions without answers or answers without questions. The overall atmosphere can be mysterious as well - you can write a horror or detective story, but your repertoir is not limited to that.

The deadline for this challenge is April 25th. If you need an extension, let us know! (We do not bite.)

For writers: send your stories to teitho.contest@gmail.com.... As usually, the contest is anonymous and the story can't be posted publicaly until the results of the challenge are announced. Aragorn or Legolas don't have to be main characters, but at least one of them must be mentioned in the story.

For artists: Submit your picture into the Teitho gallery folder of Arda-Inspired at deviantArt. The picture should be new, drawn specifically for the challenge. State that you are submitting it to the contest in the artist's comments.

Happy writing and drawing!
